Although we don’t know if the program will update the native file in real time, the Native Excel program see some changes on the program as long as they are updated. EditGrid Plus can also be used in online version and saved as it is. Once the program is saved online, it can be saved as an EditGrid file and could be opened in your offline Excel program. On the other hand, the Excel file can be saved as it is and can be opened in EditGrid at the same time. Although EditGrid is not exactly the same with the Excel, it’s able to “emulate” 80% of the tools used in Excel. Users will easily recognize how the program works and implement them in their business plans immediately. This program uses the newly introduced technology of Ajax. Instead of using HTML and other coding language, they are now using Ajax as it could change the file in real time version. Java could have been the next alternative but it requires installation of the program. With Ajax, everything is being streamlined in real time. No need for additional installation. Ajax is also known for its ability to use lesser bandwidth than normal. In using Ajax in this program, EdiGrid users will be able to experience fast paced interaction without any lag time even with low internet connection. The plus version is on it’s private beta version but the standard EditGrid is available for use. For personal use, consumers will be able to have this program for free. It can also be used by businesses with licensing fees but are guaranteed to be hosted in a more secure network compared to regular, free users.
