The only control is the adult content but a simple configuration or customization of settings, you’ll have access to adult related websites – all user generated. In blogs, you’ll see different things written and uploaded. At the same time, widgets are fast becoming an added content in most of the social networking websites. Not only have we seen comments such as “nice page” or “hi,” now there are sites that offer in adding glitter to your comments. Your “hi” is now embedded to your favorite pictures. Animation is a regular comment that we see in social websites.
If you place it in business settings, the ideas are virtually uncontrollable. That’s good in one sense but businesses don’t need a ton of information, businesses need the right information. Nowadays, most businesses rely in collaboration in order to get the right information. If everyone is chipping in, then there could be a good idea there but its being drowned in the sea of other unnecessary information. To sort out the information, a good software should be in place to get the right information for businesses to survive or at least have the right information.
Recently, Day Software released a collaboration tool called CQ DAM. Day is a software company based in Sweden that specialize in content management system (CMS) and proper streamlining of tools and knowledge. This tool is seen as essential since “Today, companies face significant challenges in managing new social content, in addition to the content that already resides in information silos across their organizations,” said the CTO of Day, David Nuescheler.
The software solution runs in Ajax and it’s aimed to control user generated content especially in Web 2.0 environment. Businesses that rely in user generated or collaborative content will be able to find this useful as it provides not only information but it also looks for the right information. David carefully describes the product in their latest press release, “Day’s new collaboration solution, CQ DAM, connects companies with the people that posses relevant information and feedback, enabling businesses to streamline management of their social media, while delivering the brand control and consistency required by our blue-chip customers.”
This tool is really efficient since it extends to other information sources not only in their own system. When properly implemented, it should access important information from different sources in the company. “CQ DAM extends the value of rich media by providing efficient asset management for all departments in the enterprise.”
As the software is Ajax powered, it’s also able to handle complicated sites especially those that run in real time information which are also Ajax-based. “By providing efficient asset management through a central repository for all departments in the enterprise, CQ DAM extends the value of rich media. The product also leverages Web 2.0 design features such as an AJAX user interface, making ease-of-use a key benefit,” said Nuescheler. Since Ajax could be really complicated for other websites to handle, only an Ajax-based software could handle the information provided by these websites.
