We have to admit, Ajax is a fairly new technique developed over the years. As programmers and developers look at other things to enhance the experience of web users, Ajax is naturally an “evolution” that will lead us to the next level of the Ajax world. As new as it is, it’s not that easy to understand how Ajax could work. You can even safely say that this industry has accepted the idea of Ajax so much but it doesn’t even know how to deal with it. All we know is that it’s a very good development and we should develop it. But that’s exactly the problem: we don’t even know how to make them work properly but we are compelled to accept it as it is. It could still be years before it will be established by most websites. Google might be the pioneer for it and because they maybe the first to establish such support for Ajax, it’s a preview of good things to come for Ajax developers. That’s why the scramble for created good Ajax programs should be placed. But while we wanted more of the Ajax experience, we are now faced with another reality: there aren’t enough people to do these programs. Sure we have big companies to develop the toolkit and softwares to aid the development of Ajax based websites and programs but there aren’t enough people who are capable of doing this. The overwhelming demand of this type of developers is becoming the perfect opportunity of expert programmers to get themselves a better paying job and a career. So what’s the ideal candidate for Ajax? If you’re a programmer, you already know that you could be qualified for such a program because of your expertise and familiarity. However, most of the company is looking short of a super-man like abilities to be part of the industry. One of the known requirements for this type of jobs is experience. If you’re aiming for a senior position, you should at least five years of experience in the programming industry. Even though you know Ajax inside and out, you still have to deal with what you learned through the years. Another requirement for getting a position is education. There are a lot of garage based programmers working independently and using only the experience and number of hours they put in front of the computer to be at least knowledgeable of the program. But without papers, it’s going to be nothing if you want to make it big to a company that is of course, you’re one of those guys who are exceptionally good, even without education. So if you’re a budding programmer who knows that you have what it takes, be sure to get your hands as early as possible to Ajax. As the way things are unfolding, the world needs more programmers who are proficient in this language. In five years or less, with enough experience, Ajax is going to be a way of life of the internet and you’re already on top of everything.
