Dreamweaver Combined With Ajax through Nitobi

 Category: AJAX Tips Add Comment

Dreamweaver is a very powerful programming tool created by Adobe. It has a faithful following and some websites have proven themselves safe secure and very interactive using this technology. The ability to do more than simple HTTP codes in Dreamweaver makes the program even more attractive.

Most of the time, it has been the preferred program for those who wanted to launch websites that are very interactive and most likely would have flash running in their program. The most creative programmers would agree that Dreamweaver could easily be the program that could run complex codes when done right. It does have the complexity but it only goes over to some important parts that unnecessary work is eliminated. On the other hand, Ajax has been getting some nods because of its ability to give full user interaction without the need of expecting too much of request-response protocol. This program is the new favorite of some of the programmers as it combines a very powerful interaction for the users. Google is the finest example of Ajax as they implement, in a very successful manner, web services such as Gmail and Google Documents. Anyone who has used these web services has to agree that the efficiency of the program is really there. Now these two powerful programs could be weaved together. Using the Dreamweaver as the main program, users will be able to use Ajax-based functions to be implemented. All the need to do is to drag and drop the function and watch it work like magic. Nitobi, Inc. One of the leading creators of Ajax-based components released a new version of components that could run in Dreamweaver. “'Until now, most of our customers have been hardcore Ajax developers. Now, users can simply drag and drop our components into their applications using Dreamweaver” according to Andre Charland, one of the founders of Nitobi Inc. “'Supporting Dreamweaver extensions means more developers can use Nitobi components in their applications.” The new product of Nitobi Inc. called the Complete UI 2007 Q3, the program has added new features and its key component was the additional support for Dreamweaver. “Complete UI includes nine AJAX-powered components that significantly improve user experiences for any web application… With the new release, even beginner web designers can implement dynamic, AJAX-powered design elements in their web applications, such as embedding a spreadsheet or calendar.” The nine components Charland was referring to are: Grid, ComboBox, Calendar, Callout, Fisheye, Spotlight, Tabstrip, Tree and Ajax Toolkit. These programs can now be implemented in Dreamweaver. Best of all, there’s no need to create complex coding. All the programmer has to do is drag and drop these tools. The program can be tried out for thirty days in Nitobi’s official website. It can be run in various frameworks and its platform-agnostic. Professionals can get their hands on these components for 429.00 USD. Ajax and Dreamweaver will be a powerful combination. With the creativity of the Dreamweaver and effectiveness of Ajax, the potential of web-based services and entertainment is endless.
