Fortify Updated to Scan Ajax Codes

One of the biggest technological threat right now in internet is the insecurity brought by the latest internet coding, Ajax. Websites after websites are being created with this internet technique. As it poses to provide a great opportunity for building a better service, it’s a program that has become a stage for hackers.

It’s a dangerous stage since everyone wanted to use this service but at the same time, you have to be paranoid of the inability of the program to protect itself from attacks. It’s a fairly new program that is being used but exploited at the same time by a number of hackers.

Fortunately, only a small number of events have been reported and fortunately, these are tests conducted by volunteer groups. The bad news is, there isn’t much a program that’s geared to give this service. But there’s a service that’s both promising and experienced in this field of service.

Already in their fifth installment, the Fortify SCA (Source Code Analysis) has been released by Fortify Software Inc, a company that offers source code security based in Palo Alto in California. For years, the program is one of the leading providers of this service as they are one of the preferred software by various internet groups. In this update, the company was able to integrate new security updates based on its previous experience and customer feedbacks. It now has a wizard that can assist you in using the service.

Collaboration is also reinforced and the most important update of them all is the ability to examine various source codes that are not only run by PHP, Visual Basic and Ajax through JavaScript. JavaScript is one of the important tools of Ajax and without it, Ajax will practically be worthless.

Fortify SCA 5.0 is not just a simple software. Fortify will go directly to the source of everything: the codes. It’s a grass roots approach that makes this program very effective. Instead of taking a look at the popular or the face information, the program will go deeper and take a look at each of the component of the website.

For example, instead of looking at Ajax as a whole coding, Fortify SCA 5.0 will take a look at them one by one. In response to this, they are now able to gauge JavaScript in relation to Ajax. The CEO of Fortify Software Inc., John M. Jack, has clearly laid out the reason why this update is essential.

"The breadth and depth of our customer base gives us unique insight into the largest application security deployments in the world, as well as detailed knowledge of how organizations are using this technology.

These businesses are faced with constant security threats and customers who evaluate their products and services based on the level of security they assure. As a result, they have spent a lot of time evaluating their secure development practices and have very specific requirements for any solution they may deploy.

With the release of Fortify SCA 5.0, we have implemented feedback from these market leaders to deliver the first solution meeting these requirements and the most effective application security solution in the industry."
