JQuery as Microsoft’s Library

The adoption of Ajax as a programming technique has been widespread since its inception in 2005. It changed the preferences of most developers in terms of selecting the right programming language to study.

Software giants have also acknowledged this feat as they release different updates on their softwares that eventually support Ajax. Ajax based websites are growing exponentially and development is almost unstoppable.

Generally, Microsoft will just ignore the waves and develop its own technology (Silverlight). But they cannot just ignore the fact that Ajax is growing in popularity and the clamor for increasing the efforts of IE’s compatibility in Ajax based websites is growing.

That is why Microsoft is constantly making some changes to improve their browser as well as their programming applications. The ASP.NET with Ajax is a remarkable library in building smart Ajax based applications.

Microsoft did not stop there. They extended their efforts in adopting a library that looks like JQuery. This leaning towards the specific Ajax library was eventually confirmed when JQuery and Microsoft announced their partnership. Microsoft will be adopting JQuery as their main library in building Ajax based applications.

The major reason why Microsoft selected JQuery is the ease of implementing Ajax based projects of Microsoft with the help of JQuery. The fact that Microsoft’s efforts would lead to browser compatibility is just a “side effect” but still a good side effect.

Future releases of the software development applications will be adopting JQuery recognition functions as well as plug-ins. The upcoming version of Visual Studio will be coming with the full version of JQuery and will be fully compatible.

Support for developers of Microsoft programming languages will also include assistance for different JQuery functions. Websites developed through Microsoft could be improved with the help of JQuery.

But this partnership is not only one way wherein JQuery will just provide everything without the help of Microsoft. The software giant will be coming out with additional patches and help in the improvement of the powerful Ajax library.

These add-ons will increase the performance of JQuery as Microsoft will beef up the library. JQuery developers will also have the pleasure of developing Ajax based applications with the help of JQuery and some Microsoft plug-ins specifically built for the Ajax based library.

This move of Microsoft has definitely placed them at par with other software giants who want nothing more than the improvement of applications and Ajax based websites. This news is great not only for JQuery developers but to anyone who is working on Ajax based applications and websites.

Microsoft has finally added an Ajax based library as part of their software packages, they will most likely update their browser so that developers will not have to work in developing additional functions so that it could be admitted in IE.

Soon, development of Ajax based application will be very easy as libraries have become increasingly available for different frameworks. The developer’s knowledge of JQuery or any frameworks that leads to this library could definitely help in increasing compatibility of their Ajax based websites and applications.

"Ajax" didn't have an "inception" in 2005, people have been using DHTML and circumventing page refreshes since Netscape 4. Ajax is just a fashion statement. Get a clue.
