JavaScriptJavaScript Inheritance
One of the best features of JavaScript is in its almost instant inheritance functions. When developers wants to implement inheritance between objects, JavaScript will practically do the rest as developers will just connect two objects to implement inheritance.
Through inheritance, developers will be able to properly transfer data between objects so that duplication is prevented while allowing the application to fully interact with both functions with no confusion. It's a very powerful feature from JavaScript as it really helps in client side applications. Through efficient inheritance, more objects can work in providing information faster without confusing the browser.
The level of efficient inheritance of JavaScript is even one direct connection alone. Developers can still rely on JavaScript to implement inheritance in various levels of the JavaScript or Ajax based application. The object in various levels will be able to ensure data interaction in the application because of inheritance.
Aside from inheritance in multiple levels, JavaScript has one more feature that ensures better data interaction: time-agnostic inheritance. Instead of simply learning the objects in JavaScript when the data was copied, the information between objects will continue to be synched. This will continue until one of the objects is removed from the application.
What makes this remarkable operation in JavaScript is due to two operations: "Prototype" and "Constructor"
Prototype Method
In this method, JavaScript will enable sharing of properties between objects. This is a very common interaction method of inheritance between two objects as this will enable easier interaction with the application without the need of creating a new object fast. Implementing a new object may not work well since it will never use inheritance. By using the prototype method, developers can use the properties of the new object while using the identity of the old object.
The application will still work as expected because the elements required from the object are still there.
This method is simply implemented to allow smooth transition in using objects in JavaScript application. Developers will never have to experience downtime as properties still exist.
Constructor Method
The "constructor" method on the other hand provides a lot more powerful option for developers. This method in implementing inheritance allows access to the original object without direct access. Even though the method does not provide a direct access to the original object, developers can expect normal behavior in their Ajax or JavaScript based application.
There is an advantage developers can enjoy from indirect yet easy access on objects. Because it doesn't provide direct relations, developers can add as many parameters as they choose. They can add functions which can also bend or modify some objects according to the specification of developers. With more parameters to work with objects, more functions can be expected.
Constructor and Prototype methods in inheritance allow developers build applications with relative ease. With the additional customization possible while implementing inheritance, developers would be able to build application according to their preferences. The inheritance is not just a way of improving JavaScript application but also a tool in implementing more changes.
