Nokia recently released the Nokia N810, their latest offering to tablet PC users. This tablet PC is an upgraded version of the N800 tablet PC. The Nokia N810 is anything but a mobile phone. That’s right; this latest gadget from Nokia has great features that any Nokia fan would drool on except that it’s not a mobile phone. N810 is a tablet PC which gives its users the ability to be productive in their office work instead of concentrating to mobile communications. If you’re a mobile businessman, this product is perfect for them. Instead of bringing with them their bulky laptop, all they need to bring is their mobile phone and this gadget which is a little big bigger than most regular mobile phones. Before you go ahead and order this product, there are things that you have to remember. Nokia has apparently upgraded this phone into something more functional compared to the previous N800. Instead of a virtual QWERTY, the new N810 will feature a sliding keyboard and the virtual QWERTY. Depending on your preferences you can still go ahead and write the important documents fast. However, one definite downside about this is its inability to connect to the internet using 3G or EDGE. You can only connect to the internet using Wi-fi or you can connect to the 3G using Bluetooth connecting to the internet. Even with that problem, there are updates in this tablet PC that will surely enhance your internet experience. Instead of using the same old Opera browser, N810 features a browser that almost looks like a Mozilla and has the capabilities of Mozilla. Using this browser, you can now access websites that heavily uses the latest internet technology such as the Flash 9.0 or more importantly Ajax based websites. Because of this update, N810 almost has the capability of iPod Touch. Everything that runs on Ajax can easily be accessed using Nokia’s latest tablet PC. If you have a strong internet connection in your Wi-fi, you’re guaranteed to run Ajax based programs in your computer. Even better, most of the Ajax programs available in the internet don’t really need high bandwidth requirement. This was one of the reasons why developers of mobile softwares are concentrating in creating softwares that uses Ajax. Instead of considering iPhone to access websites, N810 is a great alternative even for iPod Touch. With its sliding QWERTY, it definitely has the upper hand when it comes to ease of use. Because Ajax’s need for a strong internet connection is less than normal, it’s slowly becoming the point of reference for change for more mobile devices. The change on the internet browser that we see in Nokia is a definite example. Although Ajax has still miles to run in terms of security, it’s a tool that can be used by simple businessmen who are on a run and wants to connect to the internet from time to time. It has it’s inadequacies but ultimately, it’s a gadget that’s ready to face today’s Ajax-based softwares and websites.
