Salesforce.com is probably a dream come true for most small businesses who wants to access vital information about a client and easily share them to other employees. It has become a vital part to some of the companies that its development has become an essential part of the program. Salesforce.com hosts these information and provides pre-installed programs to choose from.

All they need to have is purchase the account and share them to all users and update the information easily. The simplistic software is appealing to the market however; it does create a problem when other markets are looking for more functionality. Not that the present programs are limited but the diversity of services requires a diversity of tools and calculations. Salesforce.com has given the customers an update wherein they could control the logical flow of the program. This is called Apex and it can easily work out in the Salesforce.com’s system. Developers of various businesses found it to be really beneficial to have a freehand of the logical flow of the business. But businesses want more. Salesforce.com has heeded this demand from various business owners and leaders. Instead of creating more programs to choose, SalesForce.com will be launching Force.com wherein businesses can create their own programs using the tools of Force.com and use the website as the host and a platform at the same time. Force.com is being introduced to the public during the Dreamforce 2007 Conference in San Francisco, CA. Dreamforce is sponsored by Salesforce.com to provide updates to its users on the updates and functionality of SalesForce.com As we have indicated, Salesforce.com previously uses Apex in order for the businesses to create logical flow of the program. It’s really easy and user friendly. But it almost took a uniformed face that businesses don’t have their own program to implement. Now that is answered with the upcoming implementation of Visualforce. This program will take Salesforce.com’s functionality to the next step of hosted business programs. Instead of simple logical programs, business will not be able to add more visuals to the existing programs that they have. They will be using the Ajax programming to make things simple for businesses to design their own interface. This would then be a user friendly program that businesses will surely like. This interface will be fully implemented in the company’s new website, Force.com and it will be fully functional – open for use in the later half of 2008. Using Ajax, force.com will work a little short of an operating system wherein business developers will be able to create their own program and launch it in the very same site. The best thing about the program that will be implemented is the offline functionality. Business may be required to download a certain client but when it does, development can be done offline and it can easily be implemented when the created software connected to Force.com’s hosting capabilities.
