Developing Simplified Website through QEvent

Developing simple Ajax based applications today are a little bit challenging. The most reliable frameworks and libraries today come in a massive scale that a small application could be easily overwhelmed by additional functions of these frameworks and related programming tools.

For that reason, a small website could be slower compared to larger websites since the smaller website uses only a small portion and would have to wade through a lot of functions before the right function could be implemented.

The larger applications will work seamlessly since everything they need is catered by the programming language immediately.

A classic example is when you build a simple website with a major JavaScript library such as JQuery. Although JQuery is very powerful by itself, it is still an overwhelming library that you cannot easily find your functions.

You will be able to build an application but it could take a lot of time and resources from a single developer.

For this reason, a simpler JavaScript library was created with the name QEvent. This is an MIT Licensed JavaScript library developed by Daniel Steigerwald.

Although this is one of the many lightweight JavaScript libraries out there, it stands out along with few notable libraries for the following reasons:

Direct and no Qualms Functions - Developers who wanted to build an Ajax based application will like QEvent since it offers simplified functions without a lot of footprint. It has even gone to a point wherein the JavaScript library eases problems in namespace.

Namespace is often unavoidable since without it, developers will not easily understand the coding. But QEvent simplifies this packing all functions in "obj.$QEvent." Through this function, developer will be able to overcome namespace problems and increase the speed of their application.

Addressed Bugs and Implementation of Fixes - Like most libraries and frameworks that just came out, QEvent has learned so many things that it has included a lot of bug fixes to ensure ease of implementation.

The persistent problem of IE incompatibility with different JavaScript commands has been addressed by the library.

The fix is not only based on IE. Other browser concerns such as the "beforeunload" function for Opera has been addressed. Although it cannot be said if the new library does not have a bug, it has pretty much covered all prior concerns from a Script library.

Better DOM - This is probably a surprising feature of the small library. Most of its functions and footprint will be based on DOM implementation. Instead of the regular data transfer through DOM, customization is highly encouraged through this function.

Event keys and objects are extensive that there is a good probability that you will find your needed function.

Since this is a relatively new JavaScript library, only time will tell if QEvent will live up to the expectations they set for themselves.

For now, the features of the application are very impressive that it could be a viable option for developers if they wanted to build an Ajax based application without working with complicated JavaScript libraries.
