Java update?

Hi, I just installed the "java runtime environment 6 update 1" this morning. It required sp2, and my xp isn't quite sp2, but I did it anyway. Now my address bar in explorer isn't working properly. It won't drop down. HOW DO I FIX THIS?!?! Just uninstall it maybe?Thanks!Can't update to sp2. Something about something running and it won't allow me to update to sp2... Sux I know......

Uninstall should work. Why not upgrade to SP2? It makes you PC more secure.

Uninstall will work ,if U can’t get sp2 search for Java update SP1

Seems like there's something wrong with it.First uninstall it. Then reinstall it and update. Then restart your computer and try it.Else, may be your web browser isn't compatible with working Java or you didn't enable Java when you were browsing.Go to options and check.Good Luck!
