Do we no longer use Embed for JavaScript audio?

Do we no longer use Embed for JavaScript audio?
I just have a couple old JavaScript projects I'm looking at, which I used embed for the audio, but the audio doesn't work anymore.

I'm no expert, but shouldn't the autostart be set to true? It doesn't look like you have any kind of controls visible, so how would you be able to hear it otherwise?
