Xhtml: Adding internal links to a framed page.?

I am relatively new to web design and am creating my first framed page. I am building a page that consists of a navigation bar on the left side of the page that just contains links, and a main frame that displays the the page that each link references. I am curious as to how to code so that a link in the navigation bar can reference an internal link within another page. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!
