CSS auto size div?

Hi. I have a website where I have a box on the right which is 500px X 500px and one on the left which is 300px X 300px. These size are controlled by a .css file I have. Now these boxes look great side by side when my browser is maximized but if i minimize it they overlap each other. Is there any way in css to auto size the div boxes to fit the browser window size so that no matter what size or resolutions you are viewing the site in it always looks porportional?
