MySpace -- Web 2.0 or Web 1.0

With no use of AJAX but plenty of social interaction, is Murdoch's myspace web 2.0 or web 1.0, (i/m voting for one point oh) because well I just plain don't like the network

its a tough one, but I'd say web 2.0, myspace is getting a lot of crap because its now owned by mr fox, however it wasn't created by him, it was created by two guys (if I remember) who only got a million each (compaired to googles 1.6 billion of youTube, its all about the social side of the web now

you have some good points there, everyone thinks of myspace post murdoch, it was originally created for indie bands as an easy way for people to get to know them and there music

myspace is just for a bunch of peodophile's to find young girls, it has hardly any moderation and should be shut down as soon as possible, (o yeah and it's web 1.0 )

i think your been a bit marsh on myspace, its got a bad rap for the bad eggs, but it happens to every site (eBay for example), and they have hired a lot of "backstage" moderators (so they say) to tackle the problem of under 13's creating profiles

i have a 12 year old niece that uses my space, she has over 100 friends and only knows about 5 of them, her parents let her use it unsupervised
