Slowly Slowly,

the first thing with AJAX I implemented was a user name checker, when you registered it would check if your user name was available, if not it would turn the input box red and say pick another one, im going to give people the chance to reply and comment before I go onto the next bit

I think that an execellent use of AJAX in todays world, a quick and easy check which results in instant feedback (though I hope you still check server side on submission for people who dont have javascript working)

thanks a lot , the next AJAX thing I implemented was a slider for my search'es where you could slide to sort for prices higher or lower, i think it works very well.

I have seen the user checker befor ajax for years now i think it was javascript what makes ajax that much better then the past languages may I ask? Im not trying to seem defient, just trying to find out.
