Should I learn html, java, xml, dhtml, css, flash, or what?

Should I learn html, java, xml, dhtml, css, or what? I want to start making programs, games, and professional graphics. Which one do you think I should try to learn first? I'm willing to spend as much time as it takes learing this. I will mainly want books from the library though. My computer is sorta messed up so I don't want to be in the middle of something and all of the sudden it crashes. I could use the library computer though. I am wanting to go to college for program/game disigner when I get the chance. Right now, I just want to be ahead and I want to start learning now. Everywhere I have read they say it's better to start when you're young. I would also, if you can, give me a website or a book about tech words like that. Thanks for the help. God Bless!
also xhtml
Also, I am planning on learing all of these so please place the order that I should learn them. Thanks.
also JavaScript
I'm sorry if I'm confusing you.

Flash - for graphics, animations, websites and basic internet games. I also recommend learning Photoshop too.
Java or C# for real programming when you want to make real applications or games.
XHTML, CSS, Flash and PHP for internet webpage creation and programming.

Thinking back on how I learnt things I think it would have been better if I started with Flash as it is so versatile.

HTML goes first because its easy then XHTML (its almost the same thing). CSS and JavaScript would be the next thing to learn, and if you want to continue learning web related scripting languages then I would suggest learning PHP and MySQL after words. Flash is fine to learn if you want to make pretty pictures that move and do fancy things. You can learn flash whenever, but if your going to learn flash then you might as well learn how to use Photoshop and gimp as well.

Well first off you seem to have a lot of interest in actual graphics I would suggest you get a copy of Adobe Photoshop and a reliable computer to install it on and try to master that.

If you are going to focus on programming for the internet you will also want to learn the web basics first which include (x)HTML, CSS, JavaScript. You will also need to learn a DBMS such as MySQL and you will need to learn a server side programming language like PHP.

If you are looking to be more of a regular applications programmer specializing in writing games I would suggest you learn C++ or C# as wella s contact people at major gaming companies such as ID games for example and ask them for suggestions on how to get into the industry. Many of them hire graphic artist students and so forth from local design schools near there offices based on a internship basis Until they work to a permanent status.
