When parsing XML in PHP how is it possible to skip tag elements that I don't want.?

I've never using XML before (I wonder why). I'm tring to create a script that insets youtube comments. Much of the data is a load of crap. How do I skip these parts. Look here for an example - http://www.godofgod.co.uk/videos/view_video.php?id=35 (at the bottom)

Thanks.
