There are a LOT of PHP frameworks for AJAX (not as many as ruby though :P ), so ill just list a few here

• sAJAX (http://www.modernmethod.com/sajax/) (One of the most pupular)
• TigerMouse (http://tigermouse.epsi.pl/) (Brand New Framework)
• PHPWebBuilder (http://phpwebbuilder.sourceforge.net/) (Ajax style website creation)
• xAjax (http://www.xajaxproject.org/) (Another Well Known Framework)

I have used XAJAX old version ... tried to use the new beta version but could not get the scripts working.. I am stil working on it ....

Sometimes I find frameworks bulky and contain too much that I personally do not need, sometimes its much better to just rip out what you need out of a framework and go from there

Makes sense, if you're good enough coder, not like me lol
