The eG Monitor for VMware Infrastructures (the eG VM Monitor), part of the eG Enterprise Suite, is a comprehensive solution for monitoring and managing all aspects of virtual hosts and guests, whether the infrastructure is used to support server or desktop applications. In May 2008, eG announced support for VMware ESX 3i and Solaris Containers. Later in the year, eG Enterprise will support the Citrix XenServer platform, and subsequently Microsoft, IBM and others as part of the company's commitment to being a supplier of management software for all popular virtualization platforms.
