Atlas. Well documented, easy to use, integrates into an environment I use.

I think the best framework is Atlas from Microsoft. It's free to download and to use. My second choice is using Ruby on Rails IDE.

I really like SPRY. I downloaded it and had ajax running in under a minute..it was pretty cool.David

I was recently searching for a good Ajax framework and I found more than that: Ext JS Library by Jack Slocum.
