Can you browse the internet on both the 60gb and the 20gb versions?

Well, I've heard that you can install custom operating systems onto the Playstation 3 hard drive.

So, I'm guessing as long as your connected to the internet and the Operating system you installed supports web browsing (it probably will, due to it probably being linux/unix), the answer to your question is yes.
