It isn't clearly defined, but one definition basically boils down to "Having lots of user generated content". So Yahoo Answers is, as is YouTube and MySpace.The other common definition is that it uses lots of JavaScript to make updates to the page with new data from the server without refreshing the entire page. e.g. GMail.Lots of websites meet both definitions, Flickr for example.
