Is Flash sufficient as a stand-alone graphic design program?
Is Flash sufficient as a stand-alone graphic design program? I'm going to try to make a web-based game using Flash & Actionscript but before I start, is it possible to make nice looking graphics with Flash? I know Adobe Illustrator can use vector graphics but is it possible to implement them into Flash? If so, should I?

Flash by itself is not good for making graphics, even though I have done this Flash can have advantages and disadvantages. You may want to try using Photoshop. Also, the new CS3 programs are integrated with After Effects, Photoshop, and other programs. You can get the Photoshop CS3 BETA at mininova.org
