FrameworksjsLINB Framework
One of the biggest challenges for developers in JavaScript and Ajax is limited support from other programming languages. Backend support for JavaScript is usually for HTML and PHP only as these two programming languages are geared towards stable build of an application. Naturally, these programming languages can work with JavaScript.
Other programming languages on the other hand could be difficult to work with JavaScript. Developers often use frameworks and libraries to make the integration possible but they are often specific to a single programming language. This means they have to use additional framework or library for another programming language to complement JavaScript and Ajax.
The lack of unifying library for other programming languages is the niche that jsLINB wants to explore. In gist, it's a framework that will enable a good variety of programming language to work as backend for various Ajax and JavaScript based functions. This means developers will be able to build a JavaScript based application inside another programming language. Aside from other programming languages, developers should also be able to build JavaScript based applications on other non-JavaScript frameworks.
Learning from the API Documentation
Learning jsLINB is actually very easy because of the extensive documentation. It's safe to say that as a programming language that allows its function to be inside another programming language can be considered an API. This simply means learning the framework is actually possible through the API documentation because the framework is basically another API.
The interface for learning the documentation in jsLINB is very impressive. From examples to actual definition, developers will be able to get the information they need fast and should be able to implement these functions without any problem.
Code Snippets
Complementing the ability of developers to build APIs for other programming languages is the addition of code snippets. These are basically functions that were already made for the developers to use. They simply have to change the source of data so that it can interact to other functions in the application.
The snippets are carefully color-coded so that developers can identify which part of the code can be changed or which ones should be considered as part of the function. Although this oversimplification will not fare well for some developers, developers with basic knowledge of Ajax and JavaScript should be able to work well with the framework codes.
Smart UI Builder
The framework actually have a feature that allow developers who have little knowledge about JavaScript build Ajax based applications. The UI builder of the application uses drag and drop feature. It's a highly visual interface that can be used to connect functions, data and variables to create an application. This is actually a "shortcut" on developing an Ajax based application. As long as the developer knows how to locate the source of data, the framework will take care of the rest.
Last but not the least; support for jsLINB will never be uncertain. Although the framework is free, there is also a commercial version for those who wanted to aggressively use the framework for Ajax and JavaScript.
